FEATURES OF THE FUNCTIONING AND DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRONIC RUS-SIAN INDUSTRY IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract

The relevance of the topic of the article is due to both the key role of the electronic industry in ensuring national security and socio-economic development of the Russian Federation and the transformation of the industry into one of the centers of economic and technological confrontation between the collective West and our country, and the objective need to identify urgent systemic problems of the functioning of the sectoral economic complex, as well as the practical significance of research related to determining the promising directions of its development. The purpose of the study is to comprehensively characterize the features of the functioning and development of the Russian electronic industry in modern geo- and domestic political, socio-economic and technological conditions. The main objectives of the study are to clarify the target function, the modern structure and features of the industry's functioning, identify its current systemic problems, assess the impact of external sanctions pressure from the collective West on the industry, and determine the prospects for the development of the industry. The main results of the research are the author's definition of the Russian electronic industry, the characteristics of its modern structure, the features identified by the authors, the actual systemic problems of its functioning, as well as trends and main directions of development. The scientific novelty of these results lies in the fact that, unlike existing approaches, the Russian electronic industry has been studied as an industrial economic complex. In addition, the authors took into account the influence of a wider range of environmental factors on the functioning of this industry: the sanctions pressure of the collective West, state industrial policy and others. The theoretical value of the study lies in the fact that the factual material presented in it and the author's conclusions contribute to the formation of a deeper and more systematic understanding of the essence and content of the processes of functioning and development of the domestic electronic industry among the general scientific community. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the provisions set out in it by the state authorities of the Russian Federation in improving sectoral industrial policy.
