The article examines the impact of digital transformation on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in India, analyzes structural changes and new development directions in the context of growing digitalization of business processes. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation of cloud technologies, big data and Internet of Things solutions in the production, logistics and marketing models of Indian companies, as well as their role in increasing competitiveness in national and global markets. The results indicate a significant positive effect of digital modernization in the form of increased operational efficiency, expanded access to financial resources and strengthening the innovation ecosystem. In addition, the formation of digital competencies of entrepreneurs and the impact of transformation on social inclusion and the economy are considered. In conclusion, recommendations are offered for the development of integrated policies and strategies aimed at reducing the digital divide and supporting the sustainable development of SMEs in the context of global competition.
