Abstract

Scientific volunteering is a rapidly developing area of research activities. Since 2022, research activities carried out in accordance with the Citizen Science concept in the Russian Federation have been defined as "Scientific Volunteering". Science volunteer programs increase public participation in science and support alternative models of knowledge production. Thus, scientific volunteering projects are often initiated to solve urgent research problems while increasing the contribution of citizens to solving significant social problems. Since the "Ten Principles of Citizen Science" are at the heart of the strategy for the creation and implementation of the vast majority of citizen science projects that have been implemented and are currently being implemented since 2015, there is a need to form relevant and relevant principles of scientific volunteering. In order to implement the task of forming the principles of scientific volunteering, the article presents twenty definitions of the term "Citizen Science", presents the existing concepts of the principles of civil science and forms classifications of scientific volunteering projects. On the basis of the materials presented in the article, the author has formed and described ten conceptual principles applicable to the organization of scientific volunteering projects and presents a conceptual visualized model of ten principles of scientific volunteering.
