FINANCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL ASPECTS OF ECONOMIC SECURITY FOR THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF GREEN BUSINESS SEGMENTS

Abstract

Sustainability research is increasingly focused on the interdisciplinary aspects. Understanding the causes of instability at the system level, in terms of ensuring economic security, it is necessary to begin with an assessment of its basic components. Russia is integrated into the global economic space, and many of the challenges of our time, including sustainable development, balanced development of territories, innovative and environmental entrepreneurship, must be responded with by adequate financial, economic and institutional-infrastructure decisions. More than 150 countries of the world have developed national strategies for sustainable development, and this is crucial for achieving economic security and achieving its key indicators. This article discusses the financial and institutional issues of ensuring economic security through the transition to sustainable entrepreneurship. One of the significant areas of sustainable development is the green economy. The development of entrepreneurial segments of the green economy, their formats and business models will allow the territories to form significant competitive advantages. The article identifies the main challenges of the green economy, identifies potential risks, and also formulates the conditions under which the development of green entrepreneurship is most effective. The international best practices and the Russian practice of introducing institutional instruments for sustainable development are summarized, on the basis of which the directions of integration of the business community, civil society and government institutions to achieve the SDGs are proposed, and sustainable development indicators are substantiated from the standpoint of ensuring economic security and the development of green entrepreneurship.
