Development of the accounting and analytical functions of the system of financial management in the public sector

Abstract

The article presents the author’s differentiation and analysis of the main stages of development of financial management in the public sector of the Russian Federation, examined their contents. Based on the study of dynamics of irregularities in spending of budget funds for the period of public sector reform, as well as indicators for monitoring financial management quality assessment on major budget managers in the context of individual component are highlighted in the main directions of improving financial management in the public sector, to strengthen the accounting and analytical functions, inter alia, improving the quality of the accounting and analytical information and methodical support of verification activities for the use of public finance.
